01. Understand the problem
We begin with what you have noticed and what is already known. The address, property use, symptom history and previous findings help establish a suitable instruction. Access requirements and the appointment are discussed before the £100 deposit is requested.
02. Choose useful tests
Different systems and materials need different methods. Accessible checks, appropriate isolation, listening, thermal patterns or tracer work may contribute to the investigation. We do not expect you to choose equipment or diagnose the fault.
03. Explain the proposed access
The findings help support a decision about where to reach the pipe. We discuss the opening and practical disruption before proceeding with the agreed work. Non-invasive investigation can reduce speculative opening, but repair usually requires physical access.
04. Repair the plumbing
The agreed residential package includes necessary access or excavation, the plumbing repair, parts and materials. Restoration of the surrounding finish is excluded, so that stage can be planned separately and clearly.
05. Check and record the work
Suitable checks assess the repaired plumbing. A Trace & Access report records the relevant findings, access and work performed. The plumbing repair includes a 12-month workmanship warranty.
Isolation, access, construction and intermittent symptoms can limit a test. We explain the findings without promising that every fault can be located without opening anything.
