Included, excluded,
and agreed in advance.
A clear price is useful only when the work behind it is clear too.
| Stage | The residential package | What to plan separately |
|---|---|---|
| Investigation | Diagnosis, suitable specialist detection and tracing | Unrelated building surveys or appliance servicing |
| Reaching the pipe | Necessary access or excavation for the agreed plumbing | Permissions for shared or protected spaces |
| Plumbing repair | The agreed repair, parts and materials | Unrelated faults or an additional instruction |
| Checks & record | Appropriate post-repair testing and a Trace & Access report | Insurer decisions about cover and reimbursement |
| Surrounding finishes | The plumbing work described above | Drying, floors, tiles, plaster, painting, cabinetry, paving and other decorative or remedial reinstatement |
How payment begins
A £100 deposit.
Part of the total.
We confirm the property, reported problem, scope and appointment before providing a payment link. The £100 deposit reduces the £1,400 package balance to £1,300.
An enquiry alone does not reserve a visit or take a payment. Full booking and payment terms should be supplied before you commit.
For business premises
A quotation around your site.
Commercial premises, larger networks and communal instructions need their own assessment. Tell us about operating hours, isolation and access so we can agree a suitable scope.
Package questions
What else would you like to know?
Does £1,400 include the repair?
Yes. For the agreed residential work, the package covers investigation, detection, tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts and materials, testing and a Trace & Access report. Applicable tax is included. Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded.
Is there an extra hourly bill if the job takes longer?
There is no additional hourly charge just because the agreed residential investigation and repair takes longer. The property and job scope are confirmed first. A different or additional instruction should not be assumed to be covered by the original agreement.
What is excluded from the £1,400 package?
Decorative and remedial reinstatement, including floors, tiles, plaster, paint, cabinetry, paving and landscaping, is excluded. Drying, roofing, boiler servicing and unrelated building work are not part of the advertised plumbing package.
What does the warranty cover?
The plumbing repair includes a 12-month workmanship warranty. It relates to the work performed and is not a warranty on every pipe, appliance or building component. Keep the report and the booking information supplied for the job.
Is a commercial property £1,400 too?
No. Business premises and larger communal systems are scoped and quoted individually. Operating hours, isolation permissions, access and reporting needs are considered before a price is agreed.
