Reinstatement restores the finish
Tiling, flooring, plaster, paint, cabinetry, paving and landscaping are excluded. Decorative and remedial reinstatement may involve a different trade and a later visit. Building drying is also outside the plumbing package.
Ask what will remain at handover
Understanding the likely opening makes planning easier. Mention unusual finishes or restricted access early, and keep the report to help the person arranging the next stage. Do not assume a finished room is included simply because the pipe repair is included.
